Nimbin’s Annual Country Show is on the weekend of 20th and 21st September.
Returning to the show on Saturday this year is the Champion Dog Show. Also on Saturday we have cattle, poultry, show jumping, ASH and standard-bred horses, plus all the pavilion exhibits.
This year’s attractions include the Wildlife Twins shows and horse events on both Saturday and Sunday, with guinea pigs and a classic car display on the Sunday.
Sunday is family day, with free face painting, Old MacDonald’s Farm, children’s pet show, talent quest, kids’ games, and the ever-popular dog high jump.
Also, the stationary engines and heritage axe displays can be viewed throughout the weekend, and the committee has sourced some sideshow rides.
The full Show programme is on the website: nimbinshowsociety.org.au and distributed around Nimbin. Please read the programme because we have made some major changes to it.
Music performances
On both days, Andrea Soler and Tim Tonkin will be offering a heartfelt blend of folk, roots and world music, shaped by years of friendship and collaboration.
Andrea’s clear, soulful vocals blend seamlessly with Tim’s warm guitar, harmonies and rhythmic textures. Their instruments complement each other with a natural ease, creating an organic sound that feels both grounded and uplifting.
Their performances have a relaxed, open-hearted quality, drawing listeners in with sincerity and soul and leaving audiences feeling connected and part of something real. Don’t miss them.
Volunteers
As a small volunteer organisation, we rely on the support of the community to make each show a success, and there are many ways to help. Whether it’s entering to compete in the animal or pavilion classes, donating your time for grounds preparation, or volunteering on the show days themselves, all volunteers are welcome.
Please contact info@nimbinshowsociety.org.au to register your interest.
Camping
Camping rates and availability often change during significant events. There is no camping available at the showgrounds from 15th to 22nd September inclusive, while we prep for and pack down from the Show.
I hope to see you all at the 2025 Nimbin Annual Country Show.
