The Legends of Nimbin – Volunteer Awards Night is happening on 31st March at the Bowlo, and nominations are now open.
Legends of Nimbin isn’t a competition. It’s a relaxed and quirky celebration of the people who keep this village going and without whom Nimbin wouldn’t be Nimbin.
It’s not a public nomination process, but any member of a local organisation can nominate a volunteer from any organisation.
There is also a group award and an “Outlander” award for those generous souls who volunteer without being formally attached to an organisation.
You can nominate as many people as you like. Nominations close on 17th March. Nominate online at: nimbin.org.au/legends or pick up and return a hard copy form at the Nimbin Neighbourhood Centre.
